Thanks to Cary Silverman again - especially for putting the Munn on the map. Literally.

Sorry, before more posters go up - I had forgotten to list the areas I postered on the weekend - on the map, the triangular area between Lee and Sycamore to the right. THIS IS GREAT NEWS! I am pulling for you and Rocky and will continue to help when I can! -Sue
ReplyDeleteHave you thought about adding some suggestions to your blog and poster on ways to try to lure Rocky to safety for when he is sighted again - like certain toys, bones, favorate words (like "treat treat" or "go for a ride/walk, bye bye, etc.)? I am praying for his safe return!!!
ReplyDeleteDon't be heartbroken if you see Rocky and call his name and he doesn't come. When dogs have been out for a while they forget their name. I know this sounds gross but you might want to drop some of your urine in the area he was sighted and put up a feeding station. Of course someone would need to watch the feeding station. Hoping and praying he is found soon.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried an "Acme Dog Whistle" to get your Rocky's attention? Apparently the high-pitched sound from these whistles can carry up to a mile or more. Note: this whistle is the "silent" ultrasonic type, but has a simple adjustment that lowers the tone into the human audible range. You are supposed to use this audible tone when searching for your pet because the sound will carry farther.
ReplyDeleteAre you planning a canvas of the area where he was last seen? Do you need volunteers for that?
ReplyDeleteI could certainly help with that
